As a long-time resident of Northern Colorado for nearly five decades, David
has built a strong connection to the local community and established a
successful real estate business serving hundreds of clients during his 28-
year career. To say he’s passionate about real estate would be an
understatement. He enjoys serving on the Professional Standards
Committee for the Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR) and teaching
the Annual Commission Update Course and the Member Ethics classes
around our state.

He also currently serves as an LBAR board member, state director for the
Colorado Association of Realtors and for the past 20 years he’s chaired the
LBAR Golf Committee. In both 2013 and 2017 he was awarded Realtor of
the Year by the Loveland-Berthoud Association (LBAR) of REALTORS®
and in 2024 he was honored to receive the Mikki Roth Distinguished
Service award.

David lives in Loveland with his wife Lisa and in 2021 when Lisa got her
license they started the Powell Team at The Group Inc., in Loveland.
Together they have a blended family that consists of five sons and two
granddaughters. David is an avid sports fan and in his free time, enjoys
playing golf, traveling, and watching sports — especially the Oklahoma
Sooners
